Saying goodbye to our host family in Hastings was a mix of happy and sad feelings. The night before we left, we hugged each other and said thank you to our host mom because the next day she had to leave early for work. It was fun because we remembered all the moments we had shared together.
The following morning, our host dad drove us to the meeting point where we met our school group. On the way, we talked about the wonderful memories we’ve made. And about our hometown.
When we arrived at the bus, we said our final goodbyes with another warm hug. It was hard to leave, but we felt so grateful to have such a caring family.
We will always remember our fantastic time in Hastings !
