~Our First Dinner with the Host Family~
Today we had our first dinner with our host family. It turned out to be a friendly and memorable evening.
The meal was simple but absolutely delicious. We got a big plate of Spaghetti Bolognese. As a side dish we got freshly baked garlic bread. We connected well with our host family and even the six years old asked questions like he never did anything else before.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a healthy dessert: slices of juicy watermelon. It was the perfect ending of the meal.
What made the evening truly unforgettable, was not just the food but the atmosphere. The family welcomed us with open arms. They asked us questions about our home, our journey, and our vacations before. We felt immediately comfortable. Their hospitality made us feel like we are really welcoming.
When we left the table, we came back with our small presents for them. They really showed joy about the small things and were so grateful. Even the gifts for the two kittens (one was actually for a dog, because of a family switch) were tested after a few minutes. We really enjoyed it and are happy to have such a good family 🫶🏻.
Thank you very much for reading and have a nice day !!!
