Today’s evening, our host family brought us to their small, beautiful suburban house which will be our home for the rest of the following week. First, we were worried how everything will turn out but our worries weren’t justified. Our host-mother and her husband treated us very kindly. She showed us our room and our own bath. Then we were invited to have dinner with them. It was rice with British vegetables (green peas, carrots), potatoes and beef. The meal tasted so delicious and for dessert, we had lemon drizzle cake. Later, I was shown the pick-up spot for the next few days. After finishing our plates, we went to our dormitory because we were very tired from the long trip to England. It had been an exciting first day on the British Isles.
