Early in the morning we set off to explore the capital of England. Our first stop was the impressive O2 Arena. Even from the outside, the huge building was fascinating, and we could easily imagine the big concerts and events that take place there. After that, we went into the city center to see the world-famous Big Ben. The sight of the clock tower, standing right next to the Houses of Parliament, was very impressive. We took some photos before moving on. Not far away, we visited the London Bridge. From there we had a beautiful view of the Thames and the surrounding buildings. It was exciting to finally see the famous bridge in real life instead of only in pictures. Next, we walked to the London Eye. The giant Ferris wheel by the Thames is one of the city’s most popular landmarks. We didn’t go for a ride, but even from the ground it looked amazing and was a perfect spot for more photos. To end our trip, we stopped by Oxford Street, one of London’s most famous shopping streets. There we enjoyed looking around the many shops and soaking up the lively atmosphere. By the end of the day we were tired but full of new impressions. The trip was varied and gave us a chance to see many of London’s most iconic sight.
