Did you ever wonder what you do in a city named „Bath“? Do you actually go and bath there or can you also do other things? Well, let us tell you what we did and experienced!
1. The Drive
As always, our bus driver picked us up at our bus stop and that’s when our journey started. Like the days before, we shared a lot of laughter, blue tongued Noemi and Sophie because of sweets, and some sleep for Helena. We had a beautiful view over the open and flat landscapes and saw Stonehenge while driving to Bath! Sure, it was just a short glimpse through the bus window, yet it was still special! After all these few stones are more than 4000 years old!

2. Bath and the tour
After about 2 hours of driving, we arrived in the so called „Bath“. We hopped of the Bus and our guide showed us that absolutely beautiful and stunning city. There was a great church, street musicians, many many shops and gorgeous buildings! After the tour with our guide, we went to the Roman Baths! That’s where the city got its name from. The Roman Baths were beautiful, full of ancient statues, stones, springs and we could listen to every story behind the Roman architecture with an audio guide. It was indeed quite interesting.

3. Freetime in Bath!
After the Roman Baths, we and our friends, Vicky and Lilly, went to explore the city. Well, the exploration stopped for a visit at KFC because of some really hungry teenagers, but that’s a story for another day! After eating, the group continued the exploration, going through a market, filming some videos, taking pictures and after all of that, ended up strolling through shops like Zara and H&M. Slowly but surely, the hunger for something sweet grew, so we bought some really really good cookies! These cookies contained 2 relatively soft cookies with a delicious cream in between them! They were so good that Vicky couldn’t resist buying one after taking a bite of Lilly’s. After treating ourselves, sadly our time in Bath slowly came to an end and we hopped back onto the coach to drive home.

4.Conclusion Time!
I think we indeed answered the question we asked ourselves at the beginning of our blog. You can definitely do many more things than bathing in Bath! You can spent a lot of time with your awesome friends, explore different things and have a lot of fun. It was yet again really really fun so if you want to have a nice day in England, we recommend going to Bath! (Pshhh, even if it’s just for the cookies). Thank you for reading our Blog and tell us what you thought about after hearing the name „Bath“ for a city somewhere in the middle of England!
