Right after settling in, we had to go to Bournemouth Beach. The weather was a little cloudy and cool, but that didn’t stop us from having fun. Some of us decided to go swimming in the sea, even though it wasn’t exactly typical beach weather.
To our surprise, the water was a really nice temperature. It was actually quite pleasant once we got in. After getting out, we were a little cold, so we went to get a hot chocolate. It was the perfect way to warm up again.
While sipping our hot chocolate, we walked along the pier and watched the zip line above the sea. We even considered trying it – we didn’t, but we’re still considering it! We walked around the pier and Bournemouth Square, just enjoying the view and the atmosphere. Somehow, we never got tired of it.
Eventually, the rain got the better of us, so we decided to head back to our host family.
