On the third day of our England Tour our grade level went to London. The sun was shining, we’ve had a good plan of the places we wanted to go and are very excited to see this beautifull city.
After we arrived in London at 11:30, we went to one of the highlights of the day, Big Ben. There we also saw the very tall London Eye and a few steps ahead Westminster Abbey. After we took a lot of photos there we took the subway to the London Science Museum. In the museum we spend one hour exploring many types of science especially the space section. After the visit we walked to the Buckingham Palace, where we saw some soldiers and beautiful flowers in front of the palace. Next we needed a rest so we went to the St. James Cafe nearby and ate fish and ships. There we had a very nice view of the park and a small lake. When we had some new energy we started our walk to British Museum and on the way we also went to Picadilly Circus and China Town. There we got some nice souvenirs, saw the big screens and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the chinese lanterns above the streets. Our last stop was the British Museum. There we saw the Rosette Stone and a big library, but unfortunately the Bayeux Tapestry wasn’t in the Museum yet. We only had little time left before we had to return to the meeting point.

In total, it was a very nice day with many new impressions. We saw all sights that we’ve planed to visit and it was very intresting. We enjoyed the day and had a lot of fun.

You managed to do SO MUCH, wow! I was also disappointed about the Tapestry, but hey, what can you do. Come back between the 10th of September and July 2027. Let us know if you go and see it.
